Fit & Technical Development
- Collaborate with designers to translate sketches and concepts into welldefined fits and silhouettes ensuring brand alignment.
- Develop detailed spec sheets for each style outlining fit silhouette and styling details for consistency in production.
- Create graded spec sheets to ensure proportional sizing across all ranges optimizing fit and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct fit sessions on live models making realtime adjustments to enhance garment comfort and appearance.
- Educate vendor pattern makers on necessary pattern corrections for improved fit production accuracy and efficiency.
- Specialize in risk assessment for childrens safety recommending styling adjustments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Evaluate and approve samples before production ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Maintain daily communication with suppliers on technical aspects to ensure seamless production.
- Provide valuable technical insights to the Buying and Design teams for decisionmaking.
- Work closely with Quality Control (QC) teams to address and resolve fit and production challenges.
