Job Description
Title: Engineer 1
Work location Address: Atlanta GA 30309
Assignment Length: 2 years (Possible Extension/Conversion)
Required PPE: Hard hat and vest to be provided. Steel toe boots will also be required but not provided. Applicant will be required to visit active construction sites to coordinate projects advise personnel and for learning opportunities.
Job Description:
The Engineer Design contractor assists in the planning design and development of technical standards for gas distribution infrastructure projects. The right candidate must be a selfstarter excellent communicator critical thinker and able to make sound decisions.
As our Engineer in the design group a typical day might include:
Working on gas storage or gas fueling station assignments
Performing assignments involving the design of components or functionality of pipeline products
Involved in the planning and design of mechanical equipment and components involving maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Performing system balances to determine the best overall solution to solve system issues or identify system low points and methods to best solve them.
Provide oversight and support for construction activities

What candidate will need to qualify for this position:
- BA/BS in Engineering (Mechanical Civil or General)
- 13 years of progressive Engineering experience
Or
- Equivalent academic education and experience
Certifications/Licenses:
Preferred: Engineer in Training (E.I.T.)

- Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization
- Computer Assisted Design/Geographic Information System basic proficiency
- MS Office advanced proficiency
- CAD/GIS intermediate proficiency
