Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) released the following solicitationDA2Data/Database Architect Opportunity for the Texas Workforce Commission. This is a remote position.
Job Description
Design the advanced data structures needed to meet the business requirements. Ensure database development standards are followed. Provide specifications for data quality. Document the “asis” schemas currently in use at TWC. Perform other analysis and documentation tasks as required to facilitate and support TWC’s Enterprise Data Warehouse. Work is accomplished in a highly collaborative environment. May also work independently with minimal supervision and be required to meet tight deadlines. Perform other duties as assigned to maintain operations.
Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will not be considered for this opportunity. Years Skills/Experience 47 Handson experience with data warehouse development (relational and dimensional) and proven evidence to implement using databases like Oracle SQL Server etc. preferably Oracle 47 Experience with Oracle PL/SQL 47 Handson experience with data modeling preferably in a data warehouse environment 47 Experience with Informatica product suite in the Informatica cloud 47 Proven ability to work successfully with technical and nontechnical groups and manage multiple responsibilities 47 Communication analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels 47 Technical writing skills
Preferred:
Years Skills/Experience 6 More than one type of RDBMS (DB2 SQL Server Oracle) 4 Experience in Public Sector delivery 4 Experience writing dynamic SQL Texas Workforce Commission experience
