Position: Senior Formulation Chemist
TrisianGlobal Consulting LLC is a leading consulting firm in the pharmaceutical industry specializing in formulation development and manufacturing. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Formulation Chemist to join our team in Collierville TN.
Responsibilities:
- Lead formulation development projects from concept to commercialization focusing on solid dosage forms (tablets and capsules)
- Conduct preformulation studies and develop formulation strategies to optimize drug product performance
- Design and execute experimental plans to develop and optimize formulation and manufacturing processes
- Analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions on formulation development
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including analytical development quality control and manufacturing to ensure successful product development and scaleup
Write technical reports development protocols and batch records in compliance with regulatory guidelines
Stay current with industry trends and developments in formulation technology and apply knowledge to enhance product development processes
Mentor and train junior formulation chemists on formulation development techniques and processes
Qualifications:
PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences Chemistry or related field with 5 years of experience in formulation development in the pharmaceutical industry OR Masters degree with 8 years of experience OR Bachelors degree with 10 years of experience
Extensive knowledge of formulation development solid dosage forms and manufacturing processes
Experience with preformulation studies formulation optimization and scaleup activities
Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and requirements for drug product development
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Prior experience in mentoring and training junior scientists
Flexibility to adapt to changing project priorities and timelines
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
