Job Description
Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and resultsoriented Network Lead to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical expertise in designing implementing and maintaining complex networks utilizing Juniper and Aruba technologies. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication problemsolving and project management skills.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the design implementation and maintenance of the organizations network infrastructure including LAN WAN and data center networks.
* Oversee the daytoday operations of the network including monitoring troubleshooting and performance optimization.
* Manage and mentor a team of network engineers.
* Define and implement network architecture strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Participate in the evaluation selection and implementation of new network technologies and solutions.
* Develop and maintain network documentation and procedures.
* Ensure network security and compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
* Participate in oncall rotation for network support.
* Proactively identify and mitigate potential network issues.
* Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless network integration.
* Stay current with the latest advancements in networking technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
* 10 years of experience in network engineering with a strong focus on Juniper and Aruba technologies.
* Proven experience leading and mentoring network engineering teams.
* Deep understanding of routing protocols (OSPF BGP ISIS) switching technologies and network security concepts.
* Experience with MPLS VPNs and data center networking technologies (e.g. VXLAN SDN).
* Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* JNCIAJunos JNCIPJunos and relevant Aruba certifications preferred.
Desired Skills:
* Experience with network automation and orchestration tools (e.g. Ansible Puppet Chef).
* Experience with cloud networking (AWS Azure GCP).
* Experience with network security technologies (firewalls).
* Knowledge of scripting languages (Python Perl etc.).
* Experience with network performance monitoring and analysis tools.
