Licensed EEG Technician Needed at SUNY Syracuse NY FullTime
Rite Konnection Staffing is actively seeking a detailoriented and experienced EEG Technician to become a vital member of our healthcare team at SUNY Syracuse NY. About the Position:
In this essential role you will conduct electroencephalographic tests to record electrical activity of the brain. Your expertise in EEG technology will be crucial for diagnosing and monitoring neurological conditions including epilepsy sleep disorders and other brain function abnormalities. Your dedication and skill will play a key role in delivering exceptional care to our patients ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities: This list highlights primary duties but is not exhaustive.
Perform EEG tests ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Analyze and interpret EEG data providing detailed reports to healthcare professionals for further assessment.
Maintain and calibrate EEG equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans based on EEG findings.
Educate patients and their families on EEG procedures and what to expect alleviating any concerns.
Qualifications:
Certification as an EEG Technician from a recognized institution.
Proven 2 years of experience in EEG testing and interpretation.
Strong understanding of neurology and brain function.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced healthcare environment.
