Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Level 1 Sr. Technician to join our team. This role involves providing support and troubleshooting for our global Windows Linux/Unix infrastructure and Network including tasks such as system maintenance configuration security and general operational support. You will play a critical role in supporting escalations for client support tickets and operational systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for the companys network and systems including Windows Linux/Unix environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Domain/Active Directory OS deployments AD Policies and other systemrelated issues.
Assist with the installation and configuration of new systems manage server updates and handle system migrations.
Help with virtualization administration and support including HyperV and VMWare environments.
Administer configure and troubleshoot network services (DHCP DNS TCP/IP)
Assist in network administration and support including monitoring and troubleshooting.
Work closely with the team to maintain and improve system reliability security and performance.
Respond to incidents related to system/network performance escalated from lowerlevel technicians.
Assist in the configuration of basic firewall rules BGP MPLS QOS and other network management tasks under supervision.
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for all systems and processes (ESSENTIAL)
Working Hours:
Normal business hours are MondayFriday 8AM CST to 5PM CST.

Requirements:
A positive selfmotivated individual with the ability to independently complete tasks.
Strong communication and documentation skills with fluency in English.
Experience supporting Windows and Linux/Unix servers in a corporate IT environment.
At least 23 years of experience in Windows Active Directory Group Policies Domain Controllers and Security Hardening.
Proficient in basic scripting to automate tasks and troubleshoot.
Experience with VOIP/SIP systems and basic knowledge of network protocols like TCP/IP DNS and DHCP.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as HyperV or VMware.
Knowledge of network administration and support (firewall configuration routing protocols and network troubleshooting).
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate technical documentation (
A customerfirst mentality comfortable interacting with endusers and resolving technical issues.

Desired Skills:
Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
Exposure to network security concepts such as VPN RADIUS and traffic shaping.
Experience with Veeam backup solutions is a plus.
Familiarity with IT service management tools like HaloPSA.
