Job Description
Job Title: Cloud Security IAM Architect
Interview: Virtual
Job Location: 100% Remote
Job Duration: 6 Months
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Cloud Security IAM Architect to design implement and optimize Identity and Access Management (IAM) security solutions across cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in at least two major cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) with preference given to those experienced in all three. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud security frameworks authentication mechanisms and access control policies to ensure compliance scalability and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement IAM security strategies across AWS Azure or GCP.
- Define and enforce identity governance policies access controls and authentication mechanisms.
- Design and implement RoleBased Access Control (RBAC) AttributeBased Access Control (ABAC) and Least Privilege models.
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulations (NIST ISO 27001 SOC 2 GDPR).
- Collaborate with security DevOps and IT teams to integrate IAM solutions into cloud environments.
- Develop IAM automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Assess and mitigate IAM security risks ensuring secure identity federation and single signon (SSO) solutions.
- Provide technical leadership on cloud security best practices and IAM modernization efforts.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in IAM architecture and security solutions in at least two cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Strong knowledge of IAM frameworks authentication protocols (SSO MFA OAuth SAML) and identity federation.
- Handson expertise with cloud security services zerotrust frameworks and IAM automation.
- Experience designing privileged access management (PAM) and identity lifecycle management solutions.
- Familiarity with security compliance standards (NIST ISO 27001 SOC 2 GDPR HIPAA).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform CloudFormation) and automation scripting.
Ideal Candidate: Someone with expertise in all three cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and a strong background in security and identity governance.
