Job Description
The Security Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of hotel guests staff and assets. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing security protocols managing surveillance systems conducting regular risk assessments and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
The role involves supervising and training security staff handling emergency situations investigating incidents coordinating with law enforcement and maintaining detailed reports. Strong leadership attention to detail and a guestfocused approach are essential to uphold a safe and welcoming environment.
Additionally the Security Manager collaborates with other departments to support operational efficiency and ensure security measures align with the hotels service standards.
Qualifications :
- Skills: Leadership risk assessment crisis management communication technical proficiency with security systems attention to detail customer service knowledge of security laws.
- Experience: 5 years in security operations (preferably in hospitality) team management emergency response investigations and staff training.
- Qualifications: Security certifications (e.g. CPP PSP) First Aid/CPR certification law enforcement or military background (preferred).
