- Prepare and followup on invoices for clients including but not limited to Group bills Tours FiTs and OTAs Air/Rail Crew ALL/Ovations/Res Plus
- To ensure that billings are accurate and prepared on a timely basis.
- Attend preconvention meetings and meet with clients on site for invoice review.
- Maintain AR and ARrelated files in the Accounting office.
- Assist Credit Manager in follow up and collection of outstanding accounts.
- Punctually respond (within 8 hours) to inquiries of guests and staff and to comply with reasonable special requests.
- Ensure accurate application of payments to accounts.
- Ensure correct billing of intercompany transactions.
- Opening of posting masters and following up with Catering for method of payment.
- Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures contained in the Finance and Accounting Policy and Procedures Manual Section 3.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.
- Must be able to work individually and as part of a team in a safe prudent and organized manner.
- Perform any other reasonable duty as required by the Credit Manager.
Qualifications :
- Diploma in Hospitality
- Prior knowledge of PMS Opera.
- Prior Customer Service experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel spreadsheet knowledge.
- Prior Accounting courses and/or Hospitality Accounting knowledge a plus.
Physical Aspects of Position (included but not limited to):
- Frequent sitting throughout shift
- Occasional kneeling pushing pulling and lifting & carrying up to 20 lbs
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
