You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe candidate will be responsible for ensuring that solutions are planned developed deployed and maintained in accordance with the Department of Children and Familys security policies and business requirements. A strong communication with different stakeholders both verbally and written are necessary for success.
The DBA will collaborate with development architects developers and analysts to implement and validate changes to database schemas and support the Software Development Life Cycles for numerous applications.
The DBA must have experience with Oracle Database management tools such as TOAD OEM SQL Plus Data Pump Import/Export and SQL developer. A variety of tasks are performed daily including database administration for SQL application databases and security assignments. Some knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server management tools such as Management Studio would be a plus in consideration for this position.
This position does require a degree of creativity with some latitude provided to produce solutions where needed.
Experience with enterprise class applications with mission critical functionality which contain sensitive and regulatory information such as IRS Pub 1075 and PII is highly recommended.
Experience with meeting government regulations on security and data encryption as defined by the regulations is recommended.
Candidates that have knowledge of the use of TOAD Erwin Model Mart and Informatica Source and Target management are a plus in considering the candidate for placement.
