SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) SME/Consultant
Travel: 50% every other week to Omaha. Remote other times
6 month contract eventual conversion
Overview:
The ideal candidate will bring 10 years of experience including a background in Big 4 consulting and a deep understanding of SAP EWM processes with specific expertise in SAP S/4 HANA. This role requires handson experience with SAP EWM and S/4 HANA is essential. The position involves travel up to 50%.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP Brownfield migration project for SAP EWM to SAP S/4 HANA at Kiewit.
- Provide technical and business processes related to SAP EWM and S/4 HANA.
- Communicate effectively with both internal teams and client leadership.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in SAP EWM with a strong preference for Big 4 consulting experience.
- Proven expertise in SAP Brownfield migration projects particularly with SAP S/4 HANA.
- Handson experience with SAP EWM processes in the past and S/4 HANA is essential
- Extensive experience in SAP EWM implementation and migration projects.
- Proven expertise in SAP EWM module functionalities including configuration and customization.
- Possess extensive knowledge of SAP EWM module functionalities and best practices as well as knowledge of Stock Room Management
- Analyze current warehouse management processes and design effective solutions to meet business requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on leveraging WM capabilities for optimal warehouse operations.
- Provide recommendations to client on the strengths/weaknesses of EWM and Stock Room Management
- Requirement Analysis:
- Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations ensuring alignment with SAP capabilities.
- Support major crossworkstreams activities such as: data migration change management/training cutover and integrated testing.
Expertise in Stock Room and/or Jovix a plus.
Relevant SAP certifications especially in EWM are highly desirable.
Ability to travel up to 50%
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Information:
- This is an urgent highpriority role so immediate availability is preferred
- Proximity to Central Time Zone preferred
