Job Description
Our client a leading company in the marine and powersports industries is seeking an experienced Accounting Controller to join their team in Bradenton FL. This is a handson leadership role where youll oversee accounting operations across multiple locations manage the accounting staff and report directly to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial reporting budgeting and forecasting across multiple locations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations internal controls and industry standards.
- Manage daily accounting operations supporting business growth through sound financial management and strategic decisionmaking.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team fostering a collaborative environment while working closely with executive leadership to align financial goals with company objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (required).
- Proven experience in an accounting leadership role with a strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Extensive experience in multilocation accounting management managing the complexities of crosslocation operations.
- Exceptional analytical organizational and communication skills.
- Industry experience in marine automotive or a similar field is a plus but not required.
