Position Title: Operating Room RN
Position Type: Direct Hire/Staff
Start Date: 02/17/2025
Pay Rate: $40 $45/hour
Schedule: Day Shift (Monday Friday 5x8s); no nights weekends major holidays or oncall.
Position Overview:
The Operating Room RN is responsible for delivering highquality nursing care to patients in the surgical setting. Acting as the patients advocate in the operating room the RN collaborates with the surgical team assists the physician and supports the anesthesia care provider to ensure patient needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patientcentered nursing care in the operating room.
- Serve as the circulating nurse advocating for the patients needs and safety during procedures.
- Assist the surgical team including physicians and anesthesia care providers as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (A.S.N.) or equivalent from a twoyear college or technical school.
- Experience: Six months to one year of relevant experience in a surgical or operating room setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications/Licenses:
- Active Florida Nursing License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA.
