Tasks

Legal
- Manage contracts policies and legal documentation.
- Negotiate agreements with corporate clients and suppliers.
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise management on legal matters.
- Handle complaints litigations and relationships with external legal advisors.
Compliance
- Oversee daily compliance tasks (onboarding and transactions screenings) and investigations.
- Develop and maintain policies controls and monitoring programs (e.g. AMLCTF personal account dealing best execution).
- Act as the main point of contact for authorities (CySEC MOKAS) auditors and management (group and local).
- Deliver regular compliance reports (AMLCTF Group compliance report AEoI FATCA) and foster alignment with other control functions.
Requirements
- Masters degree in law with (English) attorney at law degree an advantage
- Min. 35 years experience in a financial institution such as a bank or a regulator
- Regulator and bank experience experience in an EMI or investment firm is a plus
- Interest for digital assets and blockchain technologies
- Strong analytical skills precise openminded selfstarter eager to learn handson and resultoriented
- Fluent in English; Greek a strong plus
