Job Description

The Private Equity Practice Lead will play a pivotal role in building developing and managing Acumaticas Private Equity Practice. This position will focus on strengthening relationships with private equity (PE) firms and their portfolio companies promoting Acumaticas ERP solutions that cater to the specific challenges and growth goals of PEbacked businesses. The overall aim is to drive incremental software sales for Acumatica and our partners.

This role seeks a selfstarter and business builder with a keen focus on driving growth solving problems and advancing portfolio value creation. The goal is not just to sell software but to become a trusted partner in helping PE firms and their portfolio companies scale efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Relationship Management: Recruit develop nurture and maintain strong relationships with private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
  • Solution Promotion: Work closely with internal teams to promote tailored Acumatica ERP solutions positioning them as key drivers of business growth for PEbacked companies.
  • Business Development: Plan organize and participate in relevant industry events conferences and webinars to build Acumaticas brand presence engage with potential clients and generate new business leads.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams (product sales marketing and implementation) to customize and deliver ERP solutions that meet the specific challenges of private equity firms and their portfolio companies.

Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated track record of success in selling midmarket or enterprise software solutions ideally with cloudbased ERP systems
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with private equity (PE) firms understanding their needs and driving mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Deep knowledge of the private equity market including the unique challenges faced by PEbacked companies such as operational inefficiencies scalability concerns and growth strategies.
  • A highly driven proactive individual with the ability to work independently identify opportunities and take the initiative to drive results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions present tailored solutions to senior stakeholders and influence decisionmakers.
  • Comfort in setting and meeting sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) consistently delivering on revenue and growth goals.

For this role the salary range is $140000$160000 annually. This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job and may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including skills qualifications experience and other relevant elements.
At Acumatica certain roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization depending on the terms of the plan and the employees role.
