Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee wood framing and construction projects for our direct client in Nashville TN. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient site operations project quality and adherence to safety regulations while coordinating with various teams to meet project deadlines.
As a Site Supervisor you will be responsible for managing daily construction activities subcontractor coordination and onsite problemsolving to ensure seamless project execution. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and resultsdriven professional with a strong background in wood framing and general construction.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily site operations ensuring smooth execution of wood framing and construction activities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors suppliers and project teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with building codes safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project.
- Read and interpret blueprints construction plans and specifications to provide clear direction to the site team.
- Monitor project timelines and schedules proactively addressing any delays or challenges.
- Conduct site inspections ensuring proper material usage structural integrity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including progress reports safety logs and inspection records.
- Provide leadership and guidance to onsite workers fostering a teamoriented and safetyfocused work environment.
- Troubleshoot onsite issues efficiently implementing solutions to minimize disruptions.
- Uphold a culture of safety enforcing OSHA guidelines and best practices to prevent workplace hazards.
- Proven experience in wood framing or general construction with a strong understanding of framing techniques and structural requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints construction documents and technical drawings.
- Strong leadership communication and problemsolving skills to manage teams and ensure project success.
- Knowledge of building codes safety regulations and construction best practices.
- Exceptional organizational and timemanagement abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Handson approach with a proactive mindset ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications (OSHA Construction Management etc.) are a plus.
