Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research and Development:
o Partner with R&D teams and engage with customers to explore their needs and articulate them into product specific requirements.
o Drive experimental studies simulating customer application scenarios and validate product performance using relevant tools and techniques.
o Enable innovative product and/or application solutions development linking product performance to their features and articulating their correlation using basic science.
2. Communication and Documentation:
o Maintain clear and concise technical documentation to track learning and ideas.
3. Collaboration:
o Partner with internal business units and external customers to explore grinding applications across markets and identify new growth opportunities.
o Engage in initiatives such as webinars seminars and training to foster scientific growth within the organization.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Technical Expertise:
Research experience or passion in surface transformation processes like grinding or machining.
Knowledge in adjacent fields (imaging surface topography measurement thermal effects vibration analysis etc.).
Software and Tools:
Experience with tools such as SolidWorks MINITAB MATLAB Python LabVIEW VBA CNC programming and NDE techniques.
Analytical Skills:
Proficiency in statistics and experimental design.
Communication Skills:
Strong oral and written communication.
Ability to deliver structured and convincing messages tailored to various audiences
