Job Description
ARHS Group part of Accenture is looking for a Senior MultiCloud Advisor for one of its clients at the EU Institutions in Brussels.
Context
The Cloud Services & Software Broker within the clients Digital Workplace & Infrastructure enables legally sound and costeffective contractual channels to procure cloud and software services and provide advisory and operational services to optimize their implementation. Facilitate the rational and secure use of cloud and software including SaaS. Support and follow up of the clients activities concerning budget cost model chargeback and IT security.
A dedicated team of mostly remote consultants helps project teams to choose the most appropriate cloud provider and services fitting their need. They also provide implementation guidance. This team then delivers the cloud accounts and help with their configuration. The team sets up a landing zone on each delivered account to help customers secure it. It consists of a preconfiguration of the environment and the deployment of several security tools that report or even block unsecure service configurations.
A multiCloud expert on security matters is therefore required to join to help steer the management landing zones project and help our many customers improving their security posture. The service provider will provide assistance in planning configuring maintaining and administering the landing with a view to providing highly available robust and secure solutions to all users of the cloud environment.
Role & responsibilities
- Assisting the Programme Managers with the identification of technical possibilities or opportunities in relation to the solutions architectures and lifecycles and to the ecosystems they integrate with.
- Proof of Concept prototyping of infrastructure solutions including the use of cloudnative services and features.
- Participating in coordination and project meetings.
- Providing expert assistance in integrating AWS and Azure Landing Zones with other identity management authentication authorisation and privileged access management systems in use.
- Contributing to the discussions around the cloud security control baseline (CSCB) and the implementation of those controls into target environments.
- Provide expert technical assistance on AWS and Azure and their services: technical guidance troubleshooting performance optimisation monitoring.
- Coordinating and contributing to the testing of the new features of the Landing Zones developed by the Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Participating in the meetings with account owners to advise them the best way to improve their security posture keeping in mind corporate services that could help them improve their security posture.
- Validating the MSPs release plan and communication making sure that account owners are aware of the changes to come what is expected of them and how the changes impact and can benefit them.
- Ensuring that the new releases are deployed in a nonimpacting way safeguarding business continuity of the information systems running in the target cloud environment.
Qualifications :
Your profile
- Knowledge of English and French minimum level B2
- Capable of working in an international and multicultural environment.
- Strong team spirit.
- Strong serviceoriented approach.
Technical skills
- At least 12 years of experience in designing configuring and leading the administration of large cloud environment including at least 3 years with Azure 9 years with AWS and 3 years with OpenStack.
