Job Summary:

As a Mechanical Engineer at MapleCraft Engineers you will be responsible for designing optimizing and developing mechanical systems and components for largescale engineering projects. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical design principles material selection and manufacturing processes while ensuring project efficiency reliability and costeffectiveness. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams leveraging advanced simulation tools and contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical System Design & Development:

    • Design and develop mechanical components and systems for infrastructure and industrial projects.
    • Conduct feasibility studies stress analysis and lifecycle assessments to ensure project viability.
    • Optimize designs for cost sustainability.
  • Engineering Analysis & Simulation:

    • Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks AutoCAD CATIA) to create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings.
    • Perform structural analysis fluid dynamics simulations and thermal analysis to optimize performance.
    • Apply Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for design validation.
  • Manufacturing & Materials Optimization:

    • Select appropriate materials and manufacturing methods for mechanical components.
    • Develop and optimize fabrication and assembly processes for precision engineering solutions.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency.
  • Project Management & Collaboration:

    • Work closely with civil and structural engineers to integrate mechanical solutions into largescale projects.
    • Manage technical documentation ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Coordinate with suppliers clients and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay up to date with industry trends materials and emerging technologies.
    • Implement best practices for sustainable and energyefficient designs.
    • Participate in R&D initiatives to drive innovation in mechanical engineering applications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Industrial Manufacturing or Structural Engineering preferred).
  • 2 years of experience in mechanical design and product development within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks AutoCAD CATIA) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles materials science and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience conducting feasibility studies OEE analysis and failure mode effect analysis (FMEA).
  • Familiarity with industry standards (ASME ASTM ISO) and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a remote work environment.
  • Excellent problemsolving analytical thinking and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with CFD modeling AI/ML integration and sensorbased IoT systems.
  • Background in construction aerospace or advanced manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design and green energy solutions.
