Job Description
This is a remote position.
Upskills provides expert financial software consulting to investment banks and leading financial institutions in Asia Pacific Middle East and Europe. With a strong Front to Back expertise in the cash and derivatives markets coupled by an indepth knowledge of financial markets technologies we provide smart and efficient solutions.
We are looking for highly motivated Murex Test Lead with experience in Capital Market industry. We offer you the opportunity to work on unique projects and support our client based in Paris France with the following responsibilities:
- Implement the Murex Test Methodology on client project (covering implementations/upgrades/migrations).
- Create and share the project test strategy with the project manager the project team and the customer.
- Understand and explain the murex test methodology to customers.
- Coordinate all test activities within the project on Murex side (covering definition design implementation and control).
- Coordinate test campaigns and report on progress and results.
- Lead the quality risk identification and analysis throughout the project
- Act as Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) for the Client and System Integrator for Murex project team.
- Responsible for the quality of the Murex test deliverables of the client project (covering implementations/upgrades/migrations).
- Collaborate with the project Stream Leaders Members Solution Architect Project Manager and Officer through defined roles and responsibilities for all test activities.
- Maintain an oversight on the current quality status of all ongoing projects (configuration build development client quality).
- Escalate serious test issues to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Analyze issues detected by customer.
- Capitalize and provides project KPI to enhance the Murex Corporate Test Effectiveness (including CDS internal testing stream).
Requirements
- Masters/Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Financial Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Experience in Capital Market industry and knowledge in Software Quality and Testing.
- Experience on Test on Murex (MX.3 or MXG.2000) or competitive software packages is a plus.
- With the following technical knowledge: Java programming (required) Apache Camel (nice to have).
- Handson experience with SQL XML and XSL.
- Experience in developing concise and comprehensive test plans and cases.
- ISTQB certificate is a plus.
- Experience in automation testing is a big plus.
- A flexible team player respecting each other as unique individual.
- With brilliant interpersonal skills excellent communication strong problemsolving and analytical abilities.

Education
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Networking & Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant discipline.
