Job Description
This is a remote position.
- Cloud Infrastructure Deployment & Management
- Set up and maintain cloud environments on Microsoft Azure and AWS for client operations.
- Ensure system performance and security by conducting regular updates patch management and backups.
- User & Access Management
- Administer Entra/Active Directory to manage user authentication provisioning and access controls.
- Develop and enforce access management policies to align with security standards and compliance requirements.
- Network & Remote Access
- Configure and manage VPNs to enable secure communication between onpremises systems and cloud environments.
- Oversee Remote Desktop services to optimize connectivity and user experience.
- System Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- Continuously monitor system health identifying and addressing potential performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructurerelated issues collaborating with various teams as needed.
- Security & Compliance Management
- Implement industry best practices for securing cloud environments including firewall configurations security group management and data encryption.
- Conduct regular security audits to ensure adherence to compliance policies and regulations.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain uptodate documentation of system configurations architecture and operational procedures.
- Provide reports on system performance capacity planning and resource utilization for stakeholders.
- Process Optimization & Innovation
- Research and propose new technologies tools and processes to enhance cloud infrastructure management.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to drive automation and improve workflows.
- Experience & Technical Expertise
- 3 5 years of experience in system administration within a cloudbased environment.
- Strong handson experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS infrastructure management.
- Technical Proficiency
- Expertise in managing Entra/Active Directory for identity and access management.
- Solid knowledge of VPN configuration troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Familiarity with Remote Desktop services and related technologies.
- Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively within crossfunctional teams.
- Preferred Certifications (Not Required)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
- Security certifications such as CompTIA Security
- Should be willing to accept a longterm workfromhome arrangement.
- Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule.
3 5 years of experience in system administration within a cloud-based environment. Microsoft Azure and AWS infrastructure management. Expertise in managing Entra/Active Directory for identity and access management. Solid knowledge of VPN configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Familiarity with Remote Desktop services and related technologies. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
