Job Description
Overview • *This position will be physically located in Qatar in support of LOGCAP** 1. Researches, plans and designs of British Standards Electrical systems for new building construction and building renovation projects to include fire protection 2. Consultation with DPW and customers to insure Letter of justification (LOJ) requirements are met 3. Prepares or modifies reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, and designs for project 4. Inspects construction activities to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, construction and safety standards, by way of Quality Control Inspections if need 5. Uses (AutoCAD/Micro-station) computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents 6. Knowledge, familiarity and application of IBC, OSHA, Welding, ACI and AISC codes 7. Performing other essential tasks as required.
