Job Description
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items as directed by the Chef de Partie
- Contribute to the development and planning of menus, including future food trends and be passionate about developing new styles of service and concepts in the location.
- Prepare and produce a variety of pastries and desserts.
- Create seasonal and innovative dessert menus.
- Maintain ingredient freshness and quality.
- Supervise and mentor junior pastry staff.
- Ensure cleanliness and adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Stay updated on pastry trends and techniques.
- Assist in inventory management and cost control
