Our success as an organization is realized through the work that takes place in our branches or regional chapters, what we call our Leadership Communities. Multiplying Good currently runs 11 of these Leadership Communities nationwide, one of those being Chicago, in order to deliver our flagship youth program, Students In Action (SIA). SIA is a unique service, leadership, and recognition program for high school and older middle school students nationwide in Chicago, youth across the region have participated in SIA for over 10 years.
Multiplying Good is seeking an experienced individual who is passionate about engaging youth in service-learning to both develop and manage youth programming in the Chicagoland region. Duties include recruitment, logistics and planning, training preparation and support, ongoing technical assistance, evaluation, marketing and communications, and networking/relationship-building. The workflow of this position will align with the school calendar; duties from August through May will focus largely on execution, while June and July are reserved for planning and strategic initiatives. Supported by their supervisor, the Manager, Programs and Partnerships will develop partnerships to grow the SIA program into additional schools/sites, provide technical assistance to current SIA teams, and support the marketing, communications, and outreach efforts necessary to increase brand awareness in support of scaling SIA across the region within the next 12 to 18 months.
POSITION SUMMARY
Students In Action (SIA) is a best-practice, research-informed service-learning and leadership development program for teens that uses project-based volunteerism as the vehicle through which youth gain critical skills necessary for success in high school, college, and beyond. Reporting to the Executive Director, Chicago, a successful candidate for the role of Manager, Programs and Partnerships in the
Chicagoland region will be an experienced professional who is passionate and dedicated to the power of service and how it can transform the lives of others. Candidates for this position should have significant experience working hands-on with youth and their caring adults, leading service-learning initiatives, implementing events and programs, and cultivating and stewarding partnerships with colleges, universities, businesses, volunteers, and community-based organizations.
Core to the success of this role will be an ability to effectively engage community leaders, partners, and volunteers, thereby building the Multiplying Good community through programming and partnerships across the region.

BUSINESS TRAVEL
This position includes travel throughout Chicagoland to work with youth and partners as described above. It also includes occasional air travel outside the region, approximately 2-3 times annually, for national staff retreats (location varies) and to the national Jefferson Awards in Washington, DC or in New York, NY.
COMPENSATION
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience, ranging between $27.50 and $34 hourly. Part-time employee benefits include a monthly technology allowance and a generous PTO policy.
