Were seeking a talented Planner to join JP Transportation the core division driving Amazon Japans transportation network.
In this role at the heart of Amazon operations youll develop short to long-term transportation plans (next 3 weeks to up to next 3 years) using in-house tools and data analytics to optimize our rapidly growing network.
This role offers the opportunity to impact millions of customers through one of the worlds largest logistics operations.

Key job responsibilities
In this role you will lead the following areas:
Network Optimization Initiatives
- Develop and estimate improvement initiatives across multiple time horizons (3 months to 3 years)
- Drive network optimization focusing on delivery performance speed and cost efficiency
-functional Leadership
- Lead initiatives in collaboration with multiple internal teams
- Support global teams in identifying and implementing best practices and tools
Analytics & Performance Management
- Conduct analysis using internal simulation tools
- Improve performance metrics and reporting frameworks
- Utilize data management systems (SQL Python Excel) to track and analyze operational metrics
Improvement
- Lead continuous improvement activities for existing processes
- Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency gains
