At Abbott we are committed to improving health and well-being worldwide through innovative diagnostic solutions. We are looking for a Technical Service Specialist to join our Technical Service team and support our customers with high-quality reliable technical service.
Primary Objective
The Technical Service Specialist is responsible for performing planned maintenance activities hardware and software upgrades (TSBs) providing backup first-line (Level 1) service and supporting instrument installations and deinstallations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical service to Abbott Ambassadors (service interventions requiring less than 4 hours of labor)
- Schedule and perform planned maintenance (PM) activities
- Execute hardware and software upgrades (Technical Service Bulletins TSBs)
- Support instrument installations and deinstallations
- Contribute to achieving customer satisfaction (NPS) service KPIs and the districts economic growth and profitability
Education
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
- Bachelors / Engineering degree in medical electrical mechanical engineering or medical technology preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong experience using analytical tools and technical software
