Role -Web Developer/Programmer (Intermediate) /Role no 22
Number of Positions: one (1)
Location: Offsite (Must be within the Island of Ireland or an EU Country)
Contract Details
- Start Date: 1st July 2026
- Engagement Type: initial 12 months Full-Time with possibility of further extension
Mandatory Requirements (Pass/Fail)
1. Experience Level Required
It is a mandatory requirement that the Resource proposed has the equivalent of senior level (4 to 6 years) experience
2. Availability on Commencement Date
The resource must be available to provide services from the commencement date of the services estimated to be 1st July 2026.
3. English Language Proficiency
Native English speaker OR
CEFR C2 Proficiency/Mastery (or equivalent)
If there is no certificate fluency will be assessed at presentation stage

1. Key Deliverables
The following non-exhaustive list of Key Deliverables are applicable to this Role.
Creates the responsive design layout and features of a website.
Experience in both graphic design and computer programming concepts.
Assists with site maintenance and updates to ensure site remains current.
Building a website from concept all the way to completion.
Integrates data from various backend services and databases.
Uses standard practices with experience in programming which may include but are not limited to: HTML/JavaScript/CSS or equivalent.

HTML5 (semantic markup accessibility-aware structure)
SCSS / CSS3
JavaScript (ES6)
Bootstrap 3 4 5 CSS framework
Tailwind CSS framework
NPM (dependency management scripts)
Accessibility awareness (WCAG) and AXE dev tools
Responsive & mobile-first design cross-browser compatibility testing and SEO-friendly markup
Debugging with browser developer tools and Browserstack
Git version control workflows
Basic PHP (templating simple backend logic debugging)
SilverStripe (theme development template work basic module integration)
Adobe and Figma design capabilities for wireframes mockups and full designs.
