We currently have a role for a Manufacturing Process Engineer on our Night Shift and this role will involve the following:
Role Purpose
- Maintain plant and manufacturing equipment to maximise uptime and support safe reliable operations.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Engineering Safety Personnel and Finance policies.
- Support continuous improvement and development within the Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on equipment and utilities.
- Maintain engineering documentation and support equipment validation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors including issuing permits.
- Support equipment and process improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with building facility and equipment standards.
- Prepare departmental metrics and reports.
- Use systems such as CMSNext POEE DHM BMS and CTMS.
- Promote safe working practices and ensure adherence to all EHS standards.
- Participate in incident investigations and drive safety improvements.
- Foster a strong safety culture across the plant.
Education & Experience
- Trade certification or relevant thirdlevel qualification.
- Minimum 2 years experience in engineering or technical roles within healthcare or food processing.
- Strong organisational documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage timelines and work independently or as part of a team.
Key Skills
- Self-starter with ability to organize and work within a team. This experience is necessary to ensure the skills management expertise and problem solving techniques have been acquired.
- Strong communication and ability to work with all levels of management.
- Effective problemsolving using structured tools.
- Ability to negotiate present information and collaborate crossfunctionally.
- Mentorship of junior engineers.
- High attention to detail to prevent equipment or process issues.
