Job Summary

eCommerce Manager Retail Organisation

Location: Portlaoise Co. Laois
Working Model: On-site fulltime for two months and hybrid model thereafter (3 days in office 2 from home)
Salary: 75K - 80K DOE Bonus Benefits

Teamworx is delighted to partner with our Irish retail client to recruit a commercially astute eCommerce Manager to lead and grow their online business. This is a high-impact leadership role for a strategic thinker with strong financial discipline proven ownership of online P&L a track record of both delivering year-on-year growth and in managing digital marketing and partners. You will be responsible for shaping their digital trading strategy enhancing omnichannel performance and ensuring the online experience reflects the quality service and curated offering synonymous with their stores.

You will be a confident self-starter comfortable working on your own initiative while collaborating across departments to drive measurable results.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

Team Leadership Responsibilities

  • Lead develop and motivate the eCommerce team to achieve business goals.
  • Drive collaboration performance and professional growth.
  • Encourage innovation problem-solving and efficient execution.
  • Foster a positive and accountable team culture.

Commercial & Financial Management

  • Own the eCommerce P&L and budgets driving profitable growth.
  • Develop and execute the online strategy to improve conversion AOV traffic and retention.
  • Analyse trading performance and market trends to inform commercial decisions.
  • Report KPIs and financial performance to senior leadership.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage platform providers agencies marketing partners and logistics vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts monitor SLAs and ensure ROI.
  • Identify and onboard new partners to support growth.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Operations

  • Collaborate with Buying Marketing IT Supply Chain and Stores to deliver seamless online experiences.
  • Travel to fulfilment centre warehouse and stores when required.
  • Oversee website performance merchandising promotions UX and optimisation initiatives.
  • Drive operational readiness for peak trading periods.

Experience & Attributes

  • 3 years proven eCommerce management experience with P&L and budget ownership.
  • Experienced people Leader.
  • Experience within home lifestyle or Fashion retail environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Experienced managing digital marketing vendors and influencing stakeholders.
  • Strategic proactive results-driven and customer-focused.
  • Confident and impactful communicator resilient and adaptable.
  • Experience with Shopify platform is beneficial
