Job Title: SeniorJava Developer with AWS

Location: Pune

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in AWS cloud services to design develop and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building microservices-based architectures deploying applications on AWS and ensuring high performance security and reliability of systems.

Key Responsibilities
Design develop test and deploy high-quality backend services using Java and related technologies
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
Develop cloud-native applications using AWS services such as EC2 Lambda S3 RDS DynamoDB API Gateway and ECS/EKS
Implement event-driven architectures using tools like SNS SQS or Kafka
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers DevOps and product managers
Ensure application performance scalability and security best practices
Write clean maintainable and efficient code following industry standards
Participate in code reviews unit testing and CI/CD processes
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8) and backend frameworks such as Spring Boot / Spring MVC
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2 Lambda S3 RDS DynamoDB API Gateway CloudWatch)
Experience in building and deploying microservices architecture
Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles
Experience working with relational (MySQL PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI etc.)
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Strong debugging problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) or container orchestration
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform CloudFormation)
Experience with serverless architecture
Understanding of DevOps practices
Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka RabbitMQ)
AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect)
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
