Senior Java Developer N4F (REF5331H)

Were looking for a strong Senior Java Engineer to help build and modernize Deutsche Telekoms network management and provisioning ecosystem.

This is not a typical enterprise CRUD environment!

Our systems support large-scale telco infrastructure and services including:

• 5G rollout
• FTTH / FTTC broadband provisioning
• IP Transit services
• distributed network orchestration
• machine-to-machine communication workflows

Youll work on backend platforms where scalability resilience distributed communication and reliability are real engineering challenges not just buzzwords.

The role focuses on designing and developing modern Java microservices for provisioning orchestration and complex system integrations in a mission-critical telco environment.

What youll work on:

• Designing and developing Java-based backend microservices
• Building scalable distributed systems
• REST and event-driven communication
• Network provisioning and orchestration workflows
• PostgreSQL modeling and optimization
• CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments
• Kubernetes / Docker infrastructure
• Integration of complex business and network management systems
• Technical mentoring and architecture reviews
• Helping modernize legacy telco platforms into modern distributed architectures

Qualifications :

•  Strong experience in Java development and microservice architectures
• Expertise in RESTful API design and event-driven communication (Stargate Horizon)
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL (data modeling queries optimization)
• Ability to design and review software architecture for distributed systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker Kubernetes)
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills for system design
• Leadership qualities and experience in guiding development teams
• Willingness and capability to integrate AI solutions for process optimization and workflow improvement
