What youll do

Strategic design and problem framing

• Define the right problems to solve not just create solutions. With so many possible directions your role is to frame the problems worth solving and guide where we go

• Think in systems considering how features work together holistically rather than in isolation

• Connect user needs with business objectives serving as the bridge between what users need and what the business requires

• Make judgment calls under pressure knowing when something is genuinely good and when it needs more time

Hands-on execution

• Move from concept to testable prototype quickly so more of your time goes into the creative and strategic decisions

• Use AI tools (Claude Code Codex and others) to rapidly prototype iterate and validate concepts

• Validate and refine outputs from any source applying your taste and judgment to ensure quality

• Strong foundation in product design fundamentals: user research interaction design visual design prototyping

• Communication skills: you can articulate design decisions give and receive feedback constructively and work transparently
