Java Developer German and English Speaking REF5439N

Main tasks:

• Develop test and maintain a Java application using core Java technologies like Springboot and React
• Design and implement REST APIs that meet business requirements and technical standards
• Collaborate with team members business stakeholders and product owners to analyze requirements and translate them into effective software solutions
• Participate actively in the full software development lifecycle from design and implementation to testing and deployment
• Contribute to microservices architecture design and implementation ensuring scalability and maintainability
• Write clean well-documented code and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards
• Troubleshoot debug and resolve software issues efficiently supporting team members during error analysis
• Engage in Agile/Scrum rituals including sprint planning backlog refinement and sprint reviews
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate on database design and optimization using SQL databases

Qualifications :

Required Skills and Experience:

• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Solid experience developing enterprise software systems using core Java technologies
• Proficiency with Spring frameworks (Spring MVC Spring Boot) and related technologies
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (Postgres)
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipeline implementation (GitLab CI or similar)
• Demonstrated understanding of microservices architecture principles
• Ability to design and implement REST APIs
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
• Experience with version control systems and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with software testing and debugging practices

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with Terraform and / or Ansible
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes) 
• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven
• Experience with Postgres databases
• Knowledge of Java 21 or recent Java versions
• Understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts
• Previous experience working in cross-functional Scrum teams
