Job Summary
Role: Project Material Controller
Location: Dresden
MSL Engineering Ltd. is a mechanical engineering contractor dedicated to delivering a service that incorporates the highest standards of workmanship safety quality and reliability in interpreting and exceeding our clients expectations.
We are currently looking for a Material Controller to join our team. The role will be based in Dresden Germany.
Requirements
- Receive and inspect plant and machinery. Verify quantities against packing slip and purchase order and update inventory received through computerized software.
- Scan and file copy of all delivery documentation.
- Report all overage shortages and damage to purchasing and relevant Engine
- Update the Plant Schedule matching the tag numbers received and storage location.
- Daily contact with the field Supervisors and Engineers to ensure material availability supports planned progress.
- Ensure sign off at site for the items delivered.
- Keep file of all material request forms that have been signed as received at site.
- Manage all project logistics from supplier/vendor to transportation to off-loading on site.
- Ensure all applicable EHS standards are fully complied with for transport and offloading of materials
- Organize and monitor the storage of materials and their distribution across the project.
- Manage the operation of the site scheduling and controlling all site deliveries.
- Report to purchasing team weekly on all materials received.
- Previous stores experience an advantage
- Knowledge of mechanical process (pipe & fittings) a distinct advantage
