Launch Coordinator, GEMS Launch Central Services
Job Summary
In this role youll coordinate travel and training logistics for both Core Away Teams (experienced T1-T3 associates sent from legacy sites to support new site launches) and Reverse Away Teams (T1-T3 new hires sent to legacy sites for training before launch). Youll work closely with Launch Learning PXT Launch Workforce Staffing Finance Procurement and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of travel arrangements. For each project youll conduct regional market analysis coordinate accommodation and transportation develop optimal travel plans and gather stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Key job responsibilities
- Organize and support Core Away Team sourcing activities including contingency planning and gap escalations
- Coordinate execution of travel arrangements following Launch Coordinators Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Create and distribute travel documentation to associates and stakeholders
- Conduct market assessments for group travel and accommodation arrangements across Europe and the Middle East developing cost projections and consolidated reports for business approval
- Capture training progress and associate experience evaluations through surveys and feedback mechanisms to support continuous improvement
- Troubleshoot schedule logistics and operational issues as they arise escalating when necessary
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance associate experience reduce costs and improve launch processes
- Contribute to weekly reports on CAT slotting travel arrangements status and project metrics
A day in the life
On a typical day you might start by reviewing travel arrangements for multiple launch projects coordinating with vendors for hotel bookings and transportation logistics. Youll update weekly reports with the latest status information respond to stakeholder questions about travel plans and work on purchase orders and cost tracking.
Youll collaborate with PXT and L&D teams to align on training schedules troubleshoot last-minute changes to travel itineraries and ensure associates have all the information they need for their assignments. Youll also analyze survey feedback from recent launches to identify improvement opportunities and support your team in implementing process enhancements. Throughout it all youll be building relationships with internal teams and external vendors while ensuring every detail is managed with precision and care.

The GEMS Launch Central Services team is responsible for delivering seamless travel and training logistics for Amazons fulfillment center launches across EMEA and the Middle East. Our team combines operational expertise with strong vendor management and stakeholder coordination to ensure associates have exceptional experiences during launch assignments. - Speak write and read fluently in English
- Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word Excel Outlook) and/or SQL in a professional environment
- Experience performing data analysis using MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Experience in project management or management consulting including handling multiple ongoing projects
- Experience in data analysis and reporting
- French German Polish Arabic Portuguese Turkish Chinese (Mandarin) Afrikaans and Zulu are considered preferred qualifications.
- Experience with travel management or event coordination
- Experience with vendor management procurement workflows (PR/PO) and cost management
- Active Driving License
