Must-Have
(Ideally it should not be more than 3-5) Hands-on datacenter operations experience with installation racking cabling and maintenance of servers storage network security and vendor devices; strong knowledge of CAT5/6/7 and fiber connectivity basic device configuration power/connectivity planning and use of DCIM/CMDB/asset management tools in production environments.

Good-to-Have Knowledge of compliance evidence standards clean-desk and dual-authorization procedures; familiarity with shipping/receiving processes spare parts management documentation/reporting and certifications such as ITIL CDCP or relevant hardware vendor certifications.

# Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
1. Operate install rack cable and perform basic configuration of datacenter infrastructure equipment including servers storage network security and vendor devices in line with deployment and change requirements.

2. Perform preventative and break-fix maintenance troubleshoot and repair hardware/peripheral issues and ensure optimal environmental conditions including cleaning cooling power and downtime planning for equipment rooms.

3. Maintain accurate inventory asset labeling decommission records spare parts stock and update hardware/cabling information in DCIM CMDB or asset management tools.

4. Support shipping receiving and distribution of datacenter equipment while adhering to IT policies compliance requirements clean-desk standards and dual-authorization procedures.

5. Prepare progress reports maintain technical documentation communicate operational risks/issues to management end users and infrastructure teams and safely handle physical activities such as lifting equipment up to 25 kgs and working on ladders for cabling and power connectivity.
