What you will do:
Own the customer data migration process end-to-end
You take raw customer data assess its quality reformat it to Leapsomes requirements and execute the upload. This covers employee records historical attributes user documents document templates absence histories and onboarding and offboarding workflows.
You work primarily in Google Sheets and use scripting tools like Google Apps Script to automate repetitive file sorting and restructuring. You spot inconsistencies before they become problems and know how to push back constructively when a customers data isnt ready.
Customer communication and consultation
You introduce the migration process set expectations on what the customer needs to provide and align on timelines. After that you keep communication efficient and very timely: most follow-up is async and you know when a quick message solves what a call would overcomplicate but also when to jump on a call.
You dont just execute: you help customers make better decisions about how their data is structured. When their absence policy names dont map cleanly to Leapsomes configuration or their document naming conventions need rethinking you flag it early and guide them toward a setup that will actually work long-term.
Coordinate between your stakeholders in CS the Onboarding Team the Sales Team and Product
You keep a shared progress tracker current so Onboarding Managers always know where a migration stands. You join final sign-off calls and step in when your input would unblock a customer conversation. Over time you become a go-to resource for the broader CS team on HRIS product depth and integration questions.
Beyond your own migrations you build up deep knowledge of how Leapsomes modules work how data flows between systems and where integrations can reduce manual lift. Onboarding Managers and Customer Success Managers tap you when a customer has a complex data or integration question that needs a specialists read.
You provide constant feedback to our Product Team to make data migration smoother and self-serve.
You actively look for ways to do migrations faster and more accurately whether thats better tooling smarter use of AI for data transformation and validation or improving the templates and guides the team relies on. You dont wait to be asked: you bring ideas and help build them out.
Who you are:
You take ownership of complex multi-layered data projects end-to-end
Youre highly proficient in Google Sheets and comfortable writing scripts (e.g. Google Apps Script) to automate repetitive data tasks. You dont manually do what can be systematized
You have a sharp eye for data quality issues and catch inconsistencies early
You put the customer at the center of your projects and enjoy customer communication
You like discovering product features and integrations APIs and webhooks are not new to you
Youre organized and transparent
You enjoy being a specialist others rely on
Youre curious about how systems connect. You actively look for integration opportunities that reduce manual lift and think beyond individual migrations toward scalable repeatable processes
You have a builders mindset. You propose solutions experiment with better tooling explore AI-assisted approaches to data transformation and help implement what you come up with
