As Application Engineer Industry you are the technical bridge between customer R&D teams and global Johnson Electric engineering and manufacturing teams. You translate customer ideas into robust competitive and sustainable technical solutions while supporting long-term business growth.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as primary technical contact for customers: specifications feasibility cost analysis projectplanning sampling and validation

• Manage projects with global development scope mainly involving Asian Business Units

• Support industrial segments such as white goods lawn & garden small appliances coffeemachines data center cooling and more

• Identify the best technical solution together with Business Units balancing performance costcompetitiveness and sustainability

• Ensure customer requirements are fully reflected in BU developments

• Support both single components and subsystem solutions

• Work closely with Key Account Managers on growth plans customer strategy and opportunitydevelopment

• Prepare and present technical concepts and offers to customers

• Own customer R&D relationships and ensure a structured development and sales process

• Maintain technical and commercial documentation (Salesforce PDMS4)

• Take full responsibility for small to mid-sized customers including budget and growth planning

Your Profile

• Degree in Engineering (electrical electromechanical or similar)

• 12 years of experience in Application Engineering Project Development or a similar role

• Graduates with strong technical motivation are welcome

• Fluent in English and German

• Customer-oriented communicative and comfortable working cross-functionally

• Structured reliable flexible and eager to take ownership

• Motivated to engage directly with customers and build long-term relationships
