Key Responsibilities
- Support procurement projects within the Landside and Maersk Container Logistics (MCL) in Egypt.
- Realize service sourcing contract & bid procedures supplier selection.
- Manage supplier performance reporting and purchasing efficiency & streamlining optimizations.
- Support and participate in negotiations for the Logistics & Services (L&S) category.
- Assist implementing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between Maersk operations and its suppliers.
Collaboration & Alignment:
- Work closely with the Egypt Procurement Manager and internal/external stakeholders to ensure costs commercial needs and operational execution are aligned.
- Engage with the local organization counterparts in other Areas and procurement stakeholders across the EME.
- According to authority level participation in negotiations for the L&S category and assisting in the implementation of Service Level Agreements between Maersks operation and its suppliers.
Data & Digital Skills:
- Conduct strong analytical assessments on spend cost and vendor data.
- Utilize digital capabilities to manage online tenders using Maersk platforms.
Who We Are Looking For
- Logistics (operational/financial/CX) experience (preferably)
- Analytical approach - ability to work with complex data and prepare reporting
- Understanding of financial figures and terms
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills
- Digital capabilities familiar with digital applications Gen AI etc.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
