About the role Building scalable Nordic data platforms
As Azure Data Engineer you will become part of a highly skilled cross-functional team working closely with Product Owners Architects developers and business stakeholders across the Nordics.
You will play a key role in designing developing and maintaining cloud-based data platforms and integrations that support Marketing Automation and MarTech solutions across Tryg and Trygg-Hansa.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Storage
- Developing backend integrations and APIs supporting data exchange across platforms
- Designing and optimizing SQL solutions including stored procedures and performance-tuned queries
- Implementing real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka and Azure Event Hub
- Managing infrastructure through Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles
- Supporting CI/CD and DevOps processes in GitLab
- Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines and backend systems
- Collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams across Nordic countries
About you Collaborative and technically strong
To succeed in this role it is important that you have strong technical capabilities combined with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work across teams and stakeholders.
We imagine that you:
- Have hands-on experience within data engineering integrations or backend development
- Have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Data Services
- Are experienced with Azure Data Factory Databricks SQL and Terraform
- Have experience with APIs CI/CD and GitLab
- Understand data modeling warehousing and scalable cloud solutions
- Have experience with Kafka Event Hub Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Work in a structured and proactive way
- Communicate fluently in English and preferably a Nordic language.
