Our client is a leading international organization providing audit tax and advisory services part of a global network with a presence in more than 140 countries. The company works with some of the worlds largest businesses and institutions supporting organizations in risk management financial transformation regulatory compliance and sustainability. It is recognized for its high professional standards innovative approach and strong focus on digitalization and talent development. On their behalf we are currently looking for a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join their team.

Your responsibilities:

• Operate maintain and optimize Azure production environments to ensure reliability performance and availability
• Implement infrastructure changes exclusively through automated CI/CD pipelines following infrastructure governance standards
• Operate and enhance automated deployment of Azure infrastructure services using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or Terraform)
• Support lifecycle management of Azure infrastructure components across environments
• Handle L2/L3 escalations and perform deep technical troubleshooting for complex cloud incidents.
• Investigate issues using logs metrics and telemetry data to identify root causes and implement permanent fixes
• Improve operational reliability through automation and continuous improvement practices
• Create maintain and fine-tune monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor Log Analytics and SCOM
• Define actionable alerts dashboards and operational visibility standards
• Proactively identify performance or availability risks
• Maintain and troubleshoot Azure networking components including VNets routing connectivity and private networking configurations
• Support hybrid connectivity and infrastructure communication troubleshooting
• Address security findings and vulnerability remediation tasks
• Implement configuration changes based on security assessments and compliance requirements
• Collaborate closely with security teams on risk mitigation and operational hardening

What you bring in:

• Hands-on experience operating Azure infrastructure in production environments
• Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure services and operational best practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Bicep or ARM templates)
• Practical experience with CI/CD-driven infrastructure deployments
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor Log Analytics SCOM)
• Solid knowledge of Azure networking concepts and troubleshooting
• Understanding of cloud security operations and vulnerability remediation processes
• Automation mindset with strong operational ownership
• Ability to work effectively in incident-driven and production-critical environments
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and collaborate with international teams
• Fluent in English

• AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator certification
• Experience with Terraform and Bicep
• Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices

- Solution design and architecture for Azure PaaS (including Azure SQL Database Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks) and IaaS services.

The candidate technical background and experience does not align with the technical requirements for the Azure Architect role.

Димитър Велиновски -Cloud Enablement - The candidate work experience does not include in-dept hands-on experience with the core competencies required for Senior Azure Platform and Cloud Enablement engineer role.

The Azure Architect role requires demonstrated handson experience in Azure Cloud areas such as:

- Deployment and configuration of Azure PaaS services (Azure Databricks Azure Data Factory Azure App Service - Web Apps Function Apps) Azure Foundry (Azure OpenAI) and other AI services Microsoft Fabric.
- InfrastructureasCode created and applied directly to Azure environments.
- Strong understanding of Azure networking and identity configuration (for example VNets UDRs Azure Application Gateways and WAF).
- Strong understanding of identity configuration (RBAC or application registrations EntraID authentication and authorization).
