Position Overview

The Data Scientist Predictive Analytics applies advanced analytics data science and machine learning techniques to generate actionable insights and support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities solve complex challenges and drive data-informed decisions. By translating data into meaningful business value the Data Scientist contributes to dormakabas vision of becoming a truly analytics-driven organization.

What you will do

Predictive Modeling and Advanced Analytics Development

• Design develop and validate statistical and machine learning models (e.g. forecasting classification optimization) to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Operationalization and Deployment of Analytics Solutions

• Build and deploy predictive models and analytics pipelines into production environments using cloud-based and enterprise platforms.

MLOps Monitoring and Model Lifecycle Management

• Implement and manage model lifecycle practices including versioning monitoring retraining performance tracking and continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Requirements Translation

• Partner with stakeholders across Business Intelligence Finance Operations Commercial and IT functions to translate business challenges into analytical and predictive solutions.

Data Governance Documentation and Compliance

• Ensure analytical solutions comply with enterprise data governance security and documentation standards.

Continuous Improvement and Analytics Maturity Advancement

• Identify opportunities to automate processes improve model performance and elevate predictive analytics capabilities across the organization.

Insight Communication and Decision Support

• Collaborate with business partners across Operations Commercial Finance and other functions to communicate analytical findings forecasts and recommendations through dashboards visualizations and compelling data storytelling tailored to non-technical audiences.

What we require

• Masters degree in Data Science Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Engineering or another quantitative field.
• 25 years of experience in data science predictive analytics machine learning or a related analytical role.
• Strong expertise in statistical forecasting and demand planning methodologies including hierarchical forecasting models intermittent demand forecasting forecast bias and coverage metrics and other advanced forecasting performance measures beyond MAPE.
• Strong experience working with enterprise data sources particularly SAP and Salesforce.
• Hands-on experience with Python and cloud-based analytics platforms including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric. Experience with Databricks is a plus.
• Solid understanding of machine learning model development deployment monitoring and lifecycle management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent English is required.
