Job Summary
Position Overview
The Business Developer is responsible for driving profitable growth within the assigned product group by identifying and developing new business opportunities expanding market presence and strengthening customer relationships. The role focuses on supporting strategic sales initiatives developing market strategies and collaborating closely with sales teams and key stakeholders to secure high-value projects.
What you will do
Market Development & Opportunity Identification
- Identifyand develop new business opportunities within the assigned product group
- Analyze market trends customer needs and competitor activity
- Define target segments applications and priority markets
Pipeline Building & Project Development
- Build andmaintaina qualifiedsalespipeline
- Work with Sales teams to develop opportunities from early stage to order
- Support positioning of solutions in complex / project-based sales
Customer & Partner Engagement
- Establish relationships with:
- key customers
- consultants / architects (if relevant)
- partners and distributors
- Promote product capabilities and value proposition
Sales Support & Enablement
- Support Sales with:
- technical/commercial positioning
- proposals and presentations
- key customer meetings
- Provide guidance on product applications anddifferentiations
Strategy & Execution
- Contribute to product/segment growth strategy
- Define and execute action plans per market/region
- Monitor performance vs targets
Internal Coordination
- Work closely with: Sales Product Management Marketing Operations / Supply Chain
- Ensure alignment between market demand and internal capabilities
- Perform other duties related to theposition asassigned.
- Comply withall applicable health safety and environmental policies and procedures and report any unsafe conditions or incidents.
What we require
- 58 years of experience in B2B sales business development or project-based environments
- Experience in industrial / technical / construction-related sectors is a strong advantage
- Experience working in a regional or international role (multi-country exposure)
- Experience in project sales / solution selling
- Bachelors degree in Business Engineering or a related field
- Masters degree is an advantage
- Strong ability toidentify qualify and develop new business opportunities and build a sustainable project pipeline
- Solid commercial acumen with understanding of revenue margin and overall business impact
- Proven stakeholder management skills in a matrix environment with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Good understanding of project-based and solution-driven sales processes
- Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable growth opportunities
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills both internally and externally
- Ability to build andmaintaineffective relationships with customers partners and key stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to work with data including pipeline tracking and performance monitoring
- Clear and structured communication skills ensuring effective coordination across teams and regions
- Proactive approach strong ownership and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
