Our client is a leading international organization providing audit tax and advisory services part of a global network with a presence in more than 140 countries. The company works with some of the worlds largest businesses and institutions supporting organizations in risk management financial transformation regulatory compliance and sustainability. It is recognized for its high professional standards innovative approach and strong focus on digitalization and talent development. On their behalf we are currently looking for a Azure Architect to join their team.

Your responsibilities:

• Design and architect modern cloud-native Azure solutions by translating business functional and technical requirements into sustainable target architectures
• Define and implement enterprise-scale Azure architectures including multi-subscription environments landing zones and governance models aligned with the Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure Well-Architected Framework
• Demonstrate strong expertise in Hub-and-Spoke architecture networking concepts peering and private connectivity
• Apply advanced knowledge of identity authentication and access management supporting application teams in defining secure and scalable architecture patterns
• Leverage Azure PaaS data services including Azure SQL Database Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks acting as a key interface between cloud platform and data engineering teams
• Implement and promote cloud security best practices to ensure compliant and secure environments across workloads and platforms
• Design create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate deployment testing and integration processes
• Ensure adoption of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices to improve software delivery efficiency and reliability
• Provide strategic oversight and optimization of pipeline performance reliability and governance
• Analyze customer requirements and define product specifications
• Develop document and present solution designs for cloud-based infrastructure and services

What you bring in:

• MS Azure Certification: AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator certified
• MS Azure Certification: AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions and AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions certified or looking to acquire the certification
• Deep understanding of Azure platform services identity and access management networking and security architectures
• Experience in designing and building Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions
• Experience in the concepts of DevOps and CI/CD
• Experience with integration of Azure platform services to other platforms such as Databricks Power Platform Fabric M365
• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
• Ability to communicate at an executive level and articulate business value of technical solutions
• Fluent in English

- InfrastructureasCode created and applied directly to Azure environments.

- Strong understanding of Azure networking and identity configuration (for example VNets RBAC or application registrations EntraID authentication and authorization).

- Experience with Zero Trust and security principles and Azure Well Architecture Framework and provisioning of Landing zones.

- In-dept knowledge of Well-Architecture framework and Landing zones.

- Solution design and architecture for Azure PaaS (including Azure SQL Database Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks) and IaaS services.

The candidate technical background and experience does not align with the technical requirements for the Azure Architect role.

Димитър Велиновски -Cloud Enablement - The candidate work experience does not include in-dept hands-on experience with the core competencies required for Senior Azure Platform and Cloud Enablement engineer role.

The Azure Architect role requires demonstrated handson experience in Azure Cloud areas such as:

- Deployment and configuration of Azure PaaS services (Azure Databricks Azure Data Factory Azure App Service - Web Apps Function Apps) Azure Foundry (Azure OpenAI) and other AI services Microsoft Fabric.
- InfrastructureasCode created and applied directly to Azure environments.
- Strong understanding of Azure networking and identity configuration (for example VNets UDRs Azure Application Gateways and WAF).
- Strong understanding of identity configuration (RBAC or application registrations EntraID authentication and authorization).
- Experience with Zero Trust and security principles and Azure Well Architecture Framework and provisioning and support of Landing zones.

Although the candidate has DevOps AKS and Terraform technical experience he does not meet the requirements for Senior Azure Platform and Cloud Enablement engineer role.
