Program Specialist II

We are looking for a dynamic organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Program Specialist II.

The Product Support & Logistics Division currently has an opening for a Program Specialist II in the Logistics Information Services (LIS) division on the Project Management Office (PMO) team. The individual will be responsible for leading multiple projects simultaneously. This position will work on a daily basis with global partners - internal and external.

This role will be ensuring successful Change tracking deployment and retrofit process in the SAP landscape and leading several strategic transformational projects that requires Project Management and team leadership expertise.

Primary goals:

Lead Release Management change tracking and deployment processes for LIS PMO

Explore opportunities to improve project deployment lifecycle and deliver stable solutions

consistently.

Lead multiple projects simultaneously for LIS PMO

Provide periodic updates to the Sponsor and stakeholders

Collaborate effectively with global teams

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to facilitate multiple projects in parallel collaborate with internal and external partners to identify project scope provide rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates lead collaboration sessions proactively manage project risks and deliver as per plan and with high quality.
    • Manage the day-to-day project activities deliverables and resources of an SPM major release.
    • Ensure alignment with overall program objectives timelines and deliverables.
  • Provide periodic updates to the Sponsor and stakeholders on planned vs actual spend resource alignment key milestones during the lifecycle risk identification and mitigation.
    • Promote overall team effectiveness collaboration and quality.
    • Implement or participate in any change control activities relative to their project.
    • Participate in periodic Environment timeline review meetings and collaborate with other project managers to identify any integration or cross-plan dependencies and/or risks.
    • Knowledge of ALM for Test planning and execution.
    • Knowledge of project cutover and conversion planning and execution.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university in computer science (IT)
  • 10 years of IT experience with at least 3 years of various IT lead roles such as project management team/solution lead.
  • 3 years of IT project management experience
  • Knowledge of eCAB process SAP Change Process and workflow
  • Knowledge of Heritage and SAP Release Processes
  • Service Parts Management (SPM) Systems experience
  • Experience leading large application projects
  • Comfortable gathering interpreting and presenting data to high-level management
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Process development and improvement experience
  • Advanced English

  • Initiative with willingness to take ownership and accountability
  • Strong customer focus and sense of urgency.
  • Working knowledge of SAP (Service Parts Management SAP Solution Manager SAP methodologies)
  • Proven leadership skills with large projects and ability to gain consensus from multiple levels of management as required.
  • Proven ability to work with Enterprise wide project sponsors program managers and project leads from many different functional areas
  • Focus on teamwork and ability to build consensus.
  • Demonstrates commitment to IT Controls methodologies processes and standards for transition planning and support
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications including Power Point Project Excel and Visio
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple Business IT and vendor partners and other management personnel including on a global & virtual basis

Additional Information:

  • This position does not offer relocation.
  • This position requires 10% or less travel.

Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
