Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to join our Variable Team in Belgium. This role will support a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate projects across multiple client accounts providing flexible cost management and quantity surveying expertise wherever required.

Working within a dynamic client-facing environment you will collaborate with internal project management teams external consultants contractors and occupier or investor clients across a broad range of sectors including office industrial logistics labs and mixed-use developments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an adaptable professional who enjoys variety stakeholder engagement and exposure to different project types and client environments.

Fluent English required; Dutch and/or French would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full pre- and post-contract cost management services across commercial real estate projects.
• Prepare cost plans budgets estimates and feasibility studies at various project stages.
• Support procurement activities including tender documentation bid analysis and contractor recommendations.
• Manage valuations variations change control and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and provide accurate financial reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with project managers and client teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
• Support multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously as part of the Variable Team structure.
• Review contracts and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
• Assist in benchmarking market analysis and value engineering exercises.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients consultants contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with T&T standards governance and health & safety requirements.

Skills & Experience

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying Construction Management Commercial Management or related discipline.
• Experience within quantity surveying or cost management ideally in commercial real estate fit-out or construction consultancy environments.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial management capability.
• Ability to work across varied projects and adapt quickly to different client requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience preparing cost reports and managing project financials.
• Knowledge of Belgian construction market practices is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cost management software/tools.
• Fluent English required; Dutch and/or French would be beneficial.
