Job Description
We are looking for a Product Development Engineer or Project Engineer to support the development of heat pump systems and help close a short-term capability gap within our development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support general product development activities with a focus on technical investigations and mechanical design FMEA.
- Contribute to the preparation and execution of development cycle requirements (Gates milestones deliverables).
- Define and execute test plans; analyse and interpret test results to validate unit requirements.
- Propose design improvements based on test results and system behaviour.
- Analyse structural and mechanical issues and propose optimisation measures to improve product robustness manufacturability and cost efficiency.
- Take decisions and actions while balancing quality cost and timing constraints.
- Plan and manage own activities in alignment with global project timelines.
- Communicate progress clearly identify bottlenecks and support the implementation of corrective action plans.
Required Profile
- Masters degree in engineering (ElectroMechanical or equivalent).
- Strong technical and analytical mindset with a solutionoriented and proactive approach.
- Experience in product development preferably in HVAC heat pumps or similar industrial products.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a project environment.
- Teamoriented with good communication skills in a multidisciplinary context.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
