We are seeking a contract manufacturing materials planner to manage a medium-sized portfolio of raw materials. As the planner you will be responsible for shepherding raw material orders through our contract manufacturing drop ship process ensuring timely and accurate delivery to support production needs. Cross-functional collaboration will be necessary to supply gaps and technical challenges when they are identified. You will act as a liaison between contract manufacturers and both internal and external stakeholders manage performance against key organizational KPIs and apply project management skills to participate in continuous improvement initiatives with measurable business impact.

What You Will Do:
Adhere carefully to standard work including overseeing orders through the process completing daily checks and ensuring the shared tracker and inbox remain organized.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with procurement suppliers central planning supply chain management and others. Own the communication coordination and solution when our CM network is facing supply issues/shortages escalating and leading discussions when appropriate. Must show ability to recognize stock-out risks inventory needs and future requirements then clearly show the path to resolution.
Identify and implement best practices to improve results for the identified reporting metrics. Work with the appropriate groups to improve inputs to the process and drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with procurement and planning on risks supplier transitions & improvement opportunities.
Understand and resolve areas of risk in the material planning processes that could disrupt the greater supply chain
Submit and track new SKU set ups and report out progress and support needs weekly.
Monitor key master data and supply chain parameters in the planning ERP system.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business/Statistics Supply Chain Management or related field of study
2 years of work experience in supply chain planning customer service or related discipline
Experience withERPs
High level of proficiency with MS Office primarily Excel and Word
Fluent in English.
Visa to travel to the US
Ability to work typical Eastern Standard Time business hours
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Experience highly desirable
A strong track record of successfully delivering to Key Performance Indicators and business objectives
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with diverse audiences
