This is a remote position.
Public Cloud Operations Engineer
Anywhere in U.S.
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
- Operational Support for public cloud technology solutions, primarily focused on the AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- Obtain and maintain an in-depth understanding of AWS and Azure public cloud technologies to ensure all appropriate options are considered to support business initiatives.
- Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for Project Managers, Developers, and Engineering teams, to resolve technical obstacles and improve the product's vision.
- Work closely with multiple Project Management and Software Engineering teams on understanding ways to improve IaaS and PaaS service offerings.

Requirements
1. Do you have more than 10+ Years of overall experience
2. Do you have public cloud operations engineering amassing 7+ years of industry specific experience.
3. Are you a SME (Subject Matter Expert)
4. Can you obtain and maintain an in-depth understanding of AWS and Azure public cloud technologies
5. Do you have AWS or Azure public cloud experience in development or architecture.
6. Do you have hands-on with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including but not limited to core IaaS (IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, ELB) and native AWS PaaS Services (Lambda, AWS Config, EMR, Athena, EKS, etc.)
7. Do you have hands-on with Azure public cloud, including core (compute, storage, networking) platform, PaaS and IAM offerings.
8. Do you have hands-on with containers and container orchestration, Kubernetes, and Docker, including lifecycle management of containers.
9. Do you have AWS or Azure Certification a plus
10. Do you have DevOps/coding skills in Python 3.x, CloudFormation, Terraform, GitHub, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions. a plus
11. Do you have Web-Based Applications and/or Web Services-Based Applications a plus
10. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Do you have experience with equipment and repairs, which may include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc. 6. Are you ready to work in flexible working schedule including shift work and on-call schedule 7. Do you have electrical experience, welding skills, and knowledge of PLCs (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley hardware and software, instrumentation, and other electronics). a plus 8. Do you have previous forklift and aerial lift experience. a plus 9. Do you have a Associates degree in a technical discipline. a plus 10. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
